And I don't know about you but I'm the type of eater who would want to taste off of my family's plate and let them taste mine so that everyone gets something different. You know?? Hmm, Maybe that's just my family. lol

Anyway, that's enough food for right now;) More later!

Olive Garden: The Italian Expericance

Olive Garden is always the first place I think about when I want to go to eat. The atmosphere makes anyone feel like they are in a restaurant in Italy. Dimmed lights and soft music also adds to the the calm eating environment.

The authenticity of the dishes are great for people who loves meats, seafood, cheese, no-cheese, pasta or no-pasta. There is something good for anyone in your party. And with the great Olive Garden food comes the reasonable Olive Garden price. You can get the full Olive Garden experience even if you have twenty-dollars. And with an endless amount of Caesar salads and delicious Italian bread sticks.

Costumer service is also very great. It seems as though they only hired the best. The Olive Garden workers seem to always be at your service. Whether it is your waiter or waitress they seem to be always be there for help.

I give Olive Garden 5 out of 5 stars for working class people.

I think I might go there this weekend:)

Anyway, that's all for today, more on Monday!

Miss USA or Terrorist in Disguise?

Last night while watching Fox News (I don't know how it got on that channel) They described the new Miss USA Rima Fakih not only as a stripper, but also to be connected with terrorist in Iraq. Fox News also said that Rima Fakih is allegedly working with terrorist today.

Fox News needs to f***-off and leave this girl a lone. I say SO WHAT if she has a Muslim background and the last name Fakih. Look how many people have the last name Smith, (including me.. well kind of) that doesn't mean we are all related. I bet the people they connected her with doesn't even know who this girl is and could careless. She is a pretty person, and I bet she must have some kind of personality to be able to win a country wide contest.

It doesn't bother me that she entered herself in a pole-dancing contest. And that's probably just what is was a POLE-DANCING CONTEST. It doesn't necessarily mean she went all crazy and took her cloths off. People jump to conclusions before thinking things through.

And another thing! She is twenty-something years old. If she wants to live a little and go to clubs and whatever, let her. When has it ever been bad to go partying? I'm sure she was with her girlfriends and they had each other's backs while partying in (what looks like from pictures) a bar.

Just leave this girl a lone, she worked hard for what she got, and I don't think they should "decrown" her off of some b***s***.

Anyway, that's all for today. For tomorrow:)

SAT!

I'm taking the SAT on June 4th and I am very worried. Getting into college takes a lot of work, and I am worried about not getting a high SAT score to get into the college of my choice.

I decided I want to major in education, and I also decided that I don't want to stay on the East Coast for college. I have so many decisions to make.

At first, the idea of going to a state where I don't have many family members was cool, but after much thought, I don't want to be a lone during holiday's and birthdays, and I want to have the comfort knowing I have someone I really know to go and talk to when the college pressure really hits me. It's weird hearing people talk about how they went to go to a different state and lived in a dorm because it takes a lot of guts.
I plan on staying in a dorm no matter what college I plan on going to. But that's another thing I am worried about, what if my roommate is a total mess? or is racist? or smells bad? I don't want to share rooms.

I don't know. I've been thinking about it a lot. I guess it all starts with the SATs, so I'll cross that bridge once I get to it.

Anyway, that's all for today, more 2morrow.

Parent's Love

During the weekend I was thinking, WHEN IS IT INAPPROPRIATE FOR PARENTS TO STOP KISSING THEIR KIDS ON THE LIPS?

I get a lot of mix answers when I ask people this question. Some said up to 6 months and some said never!

I feel that if you are close to your parents it is okay, but some parents out there made something so innocent into something perverted and this action is now frowned upon. I still kiss my Mom on the lips and I kiss my Dad on his cheeks. While watching LisaRae the Real McCoy, LisaRae shows her love to her daughter by giving her kisses. Many reviewers found the motherly love she gives her daughter to be "disturbing" but I don't see it.

I think mothers and daughters can get away with the kisses more than daughters and fathers, or fathers and sons. But what is the age limit? Thinking back, I actually remember kissing my dad on the lips, but after 11 or 12 years old stopped kissing him on the lips. But many people still say it is inappropriate.

Let me know what you think! Because I don't find the weirdness in it.

That's all for today, more 2morrow!

BTW! TAKE MY POLL ON THE AGE LIMITATIONS FOR KISSING YOUR PARENTS ON THE LIPS!

Dear Editor: Miss USA 2010

The contestants for Miss USA 2010 had a photo shoot that showed off "too much" some say.

Over 51 of the contestants are out and many of the fans are upset about the amount of skin that is being shown.

Fadil Barisha called the photos too saucy for the competition. In my opinion I feel that the ladies who are competing in Miss USA are all old enough to be able to show off as much skin as the Miss USA will allow them. In other words, if they are allowed to wear swim suits that include two-pieces that would show off the same amount of skin, then these photos shouldn't be a problem.

Although the quotes under the photos from the Daily News website, it also seems a bit hesitant about the girls putting themselves out like that before the competition.

Whatever they are allowed to show on stage should be the same off the stage. I don't find any of the pictures too "saucy".

Anyway, that's all for today, more tomorrow.

Dear Editor: Sex & Drugs & the Spill

In one of the New York Times Opinion section a columnist named Paul Krugman explains the way he feels about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. “Obama’s Katrina” is line from some pundits and news sources. Krugman also talks about how the Associated Press review of the Obama administration had very “little resemblance” to the response given to the Katrina disaster.

As a person who fully supports President Obama, I would have to agree with Paul Krugman 110%. Obama has seen what needs to be done, and has many troops, volunteers and environmentalist out helping with the devastating oil spill. And the fact that he jumped right on it once it happened (instead of waiting) he was able to let us know exactly what is going on in the water.

Krugman later on says “… there has been nothing like those awful days when everyone in the world except the Bush inner circle seemed aware of the human catastrophe in New Orleans.” Although I was very young (well kinda) when Katrina happened I do remember not knowing how bad things were until after wards. I would see people just begging for help that the Bush administration would not give to New Orleans and its survivors.

I do agree again when Krugman states that the only common thread that connects Bush’s Katrina to Obama’s gulf spill is “the collapse in government competence and effectiveness that took place during the Bush years.”

What I disagree with Krugman is when he says “It failed to require a backup shutdown system that is standard in much of the rest of the world, even though its own staff declared such a system necessary.” The hose did have a back up system just in case something happened and it would need an emergency shut off. But because of the explosion that happened, it potentially malfunction the automatic shut off system.

Well that is all from this story, for now. For tomorrow!

Dr. Oz on Nutrients

Lately I have been catching up on Dr. Oz (only because it comes on right after The Wendy Show) And I learned a lot of things. On thing I learned was to be careful on the Vitamins supplements, and Nutrients to get.

Case in Point:

  • Most supplements that claims to be good for you could actually do nothing, or worse be bad for you.
  • Vitamins are hard to find that actually work, the best choice to get is the old school Flintstones Vitamins (They work well for children and adults)
  • Having to much vitamins can also be bad; humans are meant to have a balanced diet.

Also if you are buying vitamins it is best not to buy it online, going in to a store where the pharmacist can talk to you about the ingredients in the vitamins and nutrients that you would get in powder or pill form.

Well that is all for today! More tomorrow.

Dear Editor: Immigration in Arizona

The police force are still rounding up many illegal immigrants who they say should not be in Arizona. The thought of the United States doing so much to keep immigrants out of the country seems to be very selfish and ignorant. One might even compare this "round-up" to what the Nazi Army did many years ago. The way Arizona is trying to control their is very unconstitutional and makes the United States more unlikable by many nations. It is understandable that some illegal immigrants cause trouble, and that's one of the reasons this movement has begun, but don't let one bad apple spoil the bunch.

There has been multiple polls asking New York Times readers to poll whether they believe other states should take the examples of Arizona and the results were very shocking to me. Over 75 percent of the people said they need to do the same in there city or state.

Personally, (as a person that lives in New York City) I actually appreciate the diversity in the United States.

I hope this bill doesn't go through.

Anyway, that's all for today. More tomorrow.

Car Accidents like CRAZY!!

Since the invention of cars this has been a problem. It may not be the actual drivers fault and the people in the car isn't the only one who gets in car accidents. Most of the time it is actually pedestrians getting in the way of the drivers. Too many lives are being taken away from car accidents.

This morning a women died in a accident on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway. The accident involved two on-duty sheriff deputies who were in a patrol car. The sheriff's were all injured, but nothing life threatening.

The accident happened very early this morning, around 2:20am. The woman didn't die from the impact of the crash, after finding her way out of the disabled car she was then struck by on-coming traffic.

The cause of the accident is not available but is under investigation.

This story really hurts me because last year around this time a family member got in a car accident and died. He was only 18 years old and had a whole life ahead. He was getting ready to graduate from Bayside High School. When I tell people his story, they always assume "well he was a teenager, he was probably drunk or high" He wasn't. He simply didn't have his seat belt on.

It's very sad knowing he was excepted into the college of his choice and that he was such a great person.

It is very important to be care full while on the road. It is very dangerous, and it needs more than a lot of responsible people on the road.

I hope the family of this women is going to be okay.

Anyway, that's all for today. More tomorrow.
