Toyota Recalls the Prius Hybrid

Lately the car company "Toyota" has been recalling a lot of cars. The Toyota Priuses has been recalled on 437,000 cars. The problem seems to be envolving the brakes. Associated Press even calls it "the latest embarrasing safety lapse at the world's largest automaker"
After a while they realize that they are going to have to recall 8.5 million because of the faulty floor mats (which can trap the gas pedals) and faulty gas pedals that are slow to return to the idle position.
Although there has been so many problems with previous Priuses the 2010 model has not been recalled.
There has been 200 complaints in Japan and the U.S. about delay when the brakes in the Prius were passed in cold conditions and on bumpy roads.
I'm not upset with the recall because I find it very responsible for Akio Toyoda (CEO of Toyota) to see that he has made a mistake and is going to fix it. There are a lot of people who aren't even going to drive their Priuses any more (which I find ridiculous). If it is a fixable problem (which it is) just go get it fixed. All you have to do is go to your dealership and get the brake pedal fix. While they take 30 minutes to fix it, you can go out and buy some new floor mats. I mean I'm not tryning to say this isn't serious, it is. But people are really going crazy and like hate Mr. Toyoda for it.
All I'm saying is mistakes happen. Mr. Toyoda was probably focusing so much on how to make it gas efficient that 2 things went wrong, 2 FIXABLE things. America and Japan needs to CALM DOWN. He is only human, it happens. And it could of been a lot worse. People who own Priuses should be happy they only need to pay about $42 for a full tank of gas and the tank holds 11.9 gallons and with about 50 MPG. SHIIIIIT, thats about 595 miles a tank . . . Don't F**ckin' Complain.
Thats all for today.. more tomorrow.
